A section of concrete pipe 30 m long has an inside diameter of 1.2 m and an outside diameter of 1.8 m. What is the volume of concrete in this section of pipe? Use the 1.8-1.2 m for your radius. They want to know how much concrete which is not completely filling the cylinder. V= πr^2h

To answer this question, you will use the formula given to find the volume of concrete.

V = 3.14 x 0.6^2 x 30

V = 33.912m³

The volume of concrete is approximately 33.912 m³.
