b) Electrons flow from the negative end of a source towards the positive end.

we know that opposite charges attract and like charges repel. the electrons being negatively charged are attracted towards the positive terminal. hence electron moves from negative end to positive end.

the protons being heavy doesn't move at all when the current flows.
