Suppose that c is the center of a circle with radius 13 in and a point p is at a distance of 32 in from

c. find an approximate value of the measure of the angle (in degrees) that is formed by the two tangent lines drawn to the circle from p. if needed, round your answer to three decimals

The sine of 1/2 the angle = 13 / 32

so this angle = 23.9695 degrees

Therefore the required angle = 2 * 23.9695 = 47.939 to 3 DP's.
