The correct answer id FALSE.
Yes, allosteric regulation is the process wherein the lactose binds to the lac repressor and inactivates it by causing the shape it change. However, the process by which glucose causes cAMP levels in the cell to drop, therefore preventing CAP from stimulating expression of the lac structural genes, is known as catabolite repression and not catabolite stimulation.
