We are given angle of elevation 63° and hypotenuse ( length of kite) is 75m.

Now we are also given that Pippa is holding the kite 1.4m above the ground.

So referring to the figure, height of kite from ground = 1.4m + x

We have to find x now.

`sin theta = (perpendicular)/(hypotenuse)`

`sin 63 = (x)/(75)`

0.891 =x/75

x=0.891 * 75 = 66.825

Answer : height of kite is 1.4 + 66.825 that is 68.225 m.
