Due to the progressive era, and the powers of muckrakers, there were many changes. A lot of this is due to the work of the three progressive presidents who set in place things such as the FDA.

as the 1920’s was one of the starter years to modern day social change, with the 1920’s making a rise in gender roles, hair styles, and etc. the consumer oriented economy took a huge rise during this time as well.
