Hi there!

Volume = pi * r^2 * h
628 = 3/14*r^2*8

Now, we simplify:
628=25.12 * r^2
25 = r^2

r = 5

Hope this helps!

To find the Volume of a cylinder use

V=3.14 r^(2) h

628=3.14 r^(2) (8)
multiply 3.14 by 8

628=25.12 r^(2)
Divide by 25.12 on both sides

25= r^(2)
Find square root of both sides

√(25) = \sqrt{ r^(2) }

5 = r
