x/10 + y/100

Make a common denominator

100 is a common denominator.

When you multiply a number to the denominator, you MUST multiply the same number to the numerator

x/10 (10/10) = 10x/100

10x/100 + y/100 is your answer

* x and y being the numerators

hope this helps
