REALLY NEED ALGEBRA HELP please

2. Consider the quadratic equation 2x^2 + 7x – 4 = 0.

A. What is the value of the discriminant? Explain.

B. How many solutions does the quadratic equation have and are those solutions rational, irrational, or nonreal? Explain.

C. If the quadratic equation has real solutions, what are the solutions? Explain. Estimate irrational solutions to the nearest tenth.

A. The discriminant is 81. The formula is b^2 - 4ac.

B. 2 answer and both will be rational due to the fact that the discriminant is a perfect square.

C. Solutions are 1/2 and -4. You can find using the quadratic formula.
