If a function rule is 3n-2 what is the output for an input of 2

Answer:

Put 2 Instead of "n", it will then be 3"2". So, multiply 3 x 2 and get 6. Then, subtract 2. Your final answer would be 4/four.

f(n)=3n-2
Plug in 2 for n. f(2)=3(2)-2=4
