4 $0.35 books.
11x$0.25=$2.75
$3.15-$2.75=$0.4
$0.35-$0.25=$0.1
$0.4/$0.1=4//

Answer:

7, 4

Explanation:

x = 25 cent books, y = 35 cent books

x + y = 11

.25x + .35y = 3.15 Multiply this to get the x to be the same, x4=

x + 1.4y = 12.6 Now subtract the first equation

-x + y = 11

.4y = 1.6

y = 4

11 - 4 = 7 x = 7
