A ray can be defined as :

A line with a start point but no end point (it goes to infinity) is called a ray.

The attachment shows a figure of ray.

When writing the name of this ray, we write it as

ray AB.

The non terminating point in written first and the terminating point is written after that.

So we can say its true that the initial point is written first.

When writing the name of a ray, the initial point is always written first. True or-example-1
