A bakery supplier receives an order for 2 tons of sugar from a bakery chain. The sugar is shipped in crates. Each crate holds eight 10 pound bags of sugar. How many crates does the supplier need to ship to fulfill the order?

Each crate holds 8 times 10, or 80 pounds. 2 tons is 4,000 pounds. The answer is 4,000/80 or 400/8, or 50 crates.
