Which equations represent the line that is parallel to 3x − 4y = 7 and passes through the point (−4, −2)? Check all that apply.
y = –x + 1
3x − 4y = −4
4x − 3y = −3
y – 2 = –(x – 4)
y + 2 = (x + 4)

3x − 4y = 7
4y = 3x - 7
y = 3/4(x) - 7/4 so slope of line = 3/4
parallel lines have same slope = 3/4
passing thru
(−4, −2) so
y + 2 = 3/4 (x + 4)
4y + 8 = 3x + 12
4y = 3x + 4
3x - 4y = -4
or
y = 3/4 (x) + 1
answer
3x − 4y = −4
