The answer is fusion. That is option D.

Fusion is the process in which two lighter nuclei combine to form a heavier nuclei. Process of fusion takes place with release of large amount of energy.

As hydrogen is lighter nuclei so it is more fusible.

Here also two hydrogen atoms combine to form a large nuclei that is helium, so this process is fusion of two hydrogen nuclei.
