In 1961, Ronald Reagan, a well known actor, Hollywood figure, and political figure, voiced a recording - known, then, as an LP - in which he voiced a number of concerns he - and the political organizations he represented - had about President Kennedy's health care programs, arguing that Kennedy's plan was socialized medicine and would serve to curtail the personal economic freedom of a number of Americans.
