In each scarf, 2 of 5 rectangles are purple. Since there are 5 rectangles, 2 are purple.
For three scarves, Olivia needs 2*3 = 6 purple rectangles.

Hello!
Do, we know that each scarf has five rectangles, and two of them are purple.
2 × 3 = 6
ANSWER:
Olivia needs 6 purple rectangles for 3 scarves.
