The distance down the slide will be found using:
sin θ= opposite/ hypotenuse
θ=30°
opposite=30 ft
hypotenuse=h
hence:
tan 30=30/h
solving for h we get
h=30/tan 30
h=51.962 ft

answer: 51.962 ft
