Well, it looks like the amount increases by x2.
So just multiply by 2 until day 15

Day 4: 0.8
0.8 x 2 = 0.16
Day 5: 0.16
0.16 x 2 = 0.32
Day 6: 0.32
From here you should know what to do and I'll skip the long math
Day 15: 163.84

============================================================
Part B
The difference in change for these number is about x1.07 so multiply by 1.07 till day 15.
Again I'll avoid the extra long math
Day 15: 25.78
He would not earn more in 15 days than part a
