To find how long it will take her to make 9 necklaces, you need to find how long it takes to make 1 necklace. To calculate this, you divide 2 hours by 12 necklaces which is 0.16 or 16/100 of an hour. Then you convert 16/100 of an hour to minutes by finding _/60 = 16/100. You can find this by using cross multiplication. (16*60 = 960, 960 ÷ 100 = 9.6) After doing so, you know that to make 1 necklace, it will take 9.6 minutes. Multiply 9.6 by 9 since you are making 9 necklaces which will be 9 times the number of minutes to make 1 necklace (9.6 minutes). Your ending result will be 86.4 minutes which is 1 hour and 26.4 minutes to make 9 necklaces.

12/2 = 6 per hour

6/2 = 3 in 30 minutes.

6+3 = 9

6= 1 hour
3 = 30 minutes.

ADD 1 HOUR + 30 MINUTES = 1 HOUR AND 30 MINUTES.

1 HOUR AND 30 MINUTES IS EQUAL TO 90 MINUTES.
