Why is the Bermuda Triangle called the devil’s triangle?

i think its because so many ships go in and never come out so people feel like its evil and associated with death and so is the devil?? hope this helps.

I think it has been called the 'devils triangle' because of the apparently large number of planes and ships that disappeared in its waters ( a triangular area in the North Atlantic near Bermuda) and suggestions of extra-terrestrial influence in this area.  In fact, the number of ships having trouble in this area is no greater than in many other areas of the Atlantic and some of the apparently disappeared ships re-appeared later but were not reported as such.
