• The main causes of shrinking the populations are high infant mortality rate and low birth rates. It is reported that the unnatural deaths has been increasing in Russia.

• Enhancing the health awareness can decrease the infant mortality rate and prevents the shrinking of population.
• The government can also enable and give priority to the immigration which maintains the population in the country.
