A piece of climbing equipment at a playground is 6 feet high and extends 4 feet horizontally. A piece of climbing equipment at a gym is 10 feet high and extends 6 feet horizontally. Which statement best compares the slopes of the two pieces of equipment?

Answer:

Because5/3 >3/2 , the slope of the climbing equipment at the gym is greater.

So what you do is divide the feet height by the feet horizontally.

So for the first at playground it is 6 divided by 4 which would give you 1.5 feet high for every feet horizontally.

The second is gym so 10 divided by 6 would give you 1.6 (repeating) feet high for every feet horizontally
