Which of the points listed is the same distance from the y-axis as the point (−4, 7.5)?

Even though there are no choices given, you can determine if an ordered pair is the same distance from the y-axis by looking at the x values (first number) in the ordered pair.

The x value in the given example is -4, so any ordered pair that has a -4 as it's first coordinate would be the same distance.

Also, any number having a positive 4 would also be the same distance from the y-axis because it would be the same distance from zero in the x-axis.

When you look at the answers its the one with the 4 in the beginning, I wasn't able to catch down the full answer but trust me its the one with the 4 in the front.
