Dentify a moment of irony from the Second Episode of Oedipus the King and explain why it's ironic.

An example of  irony comes when the old soothsayer visits the King and Oedipus ridicules the man because he's blind, and Tiresias in a fit of anger tells the king that though he can see he is "blind" to the truth.

One moment of of irony from the Second Episode of Oedipus the King would be the part when there was a man who was then known to be blinded. The higher official were quite (not) very happy due to the fact that this man was then blinded and not only that, but they thought that he wouldn't obtain any other the facts or even the truth that the king were be able to explaining and informing this blind man. But this is the point. This man could truly understand and (grasp) each detail of of what the person would these men were talking about.
