Hi there!

To find the area of the kite, we find the area of both triangles and add them up.

8.5 + 8.5 = 17

17 × 4.93 = 73.81
73.81 ÷ 2 = 36.905

17 × 10.2 = 173.4
173.4 ÷ 2 = 86.7

36.905 + 86.7 = 126.805

The area is the kite is 126.805 m squared.

Hope this helps!
