In the middle of the page, draw two vertical lines an inch long, an inch apart, and that are parallel to each other. About a half inch below the lines, draw a half-inch horizontal lines that is centered between the lines

Solution:

As when we are talking about lines , we can't say it has a length of an inch. So it must be line segment.

As i have drawn two vertical lines an inch long an inch apart which are parallel to each other.

Then i have drawn half inch horizontal lines below that two lines centered between the lines.

No mathematical shape has formed. Neither it is a curve .
