The formula for distance between two points is

d = √ (x2-x1)^2 + (y2-y1)^2
If we apply in given points we get

d = √ (1-5)^2 + (-3-2)^2 = √ (-4)^2 + (-5)^2 = √ 16+25 = √41
d=√41

Good luck!!!
