Hey there!
The square root of 265 will be the amount of meters long each side of the square is . . .
Square root of 256 = 16 <-----
Each side of the square is 16 meters long.

A = (side)^2
256 = (side)^2
sqrt{256} = sqrt{(side)^2}
16 = side
Each side is 16 meters.
