The graph of an exponential function of the form y = f(x) = a^x passes through the points (0, 1) and (1, a). Where does the graph to the x-axis?

The x axis is asymptote of the exponential function you gave.

Asymptote is the right line to which the function approaches but it never touches.

Good luck!!!
