V=1/3(pi)r^2 h
225 cm^3=1/3(pi)(5 cm)(h) *I'm thinking that 10 cm must be the diameter of the cone so 5 cm would be the radius

225 cm^3=26.179 (h)

8.594...=h

rounded = 8.6 cm

Answer: The height of the cone is 8.6 cm.

Explanation:

We know that the volume of cone is given by :-

\text{Volume }=(1)/(3)\pi r^2h , where r= radius and h is height

Given : Volume of cone = 225 cm³

Base length = 10 cm

i.e. radius =
(10)/(2)=5 \ cm [cone has circular base]

Substitute these values in formula , we get

225=(1)/(3)(3.14)(5)^2(h)\\\\\Rightarrow\ h=(225*3)/(3.14*25)=8.59872611465\approx8.6

Hence, the height of the cone is 8.6 cm.
