One angle in a supplementary pair of angles measures 35° more than the other angle. what is the measure, in degrees, of the smaller angle?

Take away the difference

180 - 35 = 145

Find the smaller angle
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
145 ÷ 2 = 72.5°
