When we look at the constitution, it is stated what the eagle is used for. We see that the eagle was first of all chosen because it can “see afar.” And, we also see that the reason the eagle is chosen (because of its farsightedness) is because it can see “evil approaching” or “any danger threatening” and, therefore, provide warning. As such, the role the eagle plays is that of a guardian or protector.

The Iroquois were a powerful northeast Native American confederacy who were known during the colonial years to the French as the Iroquois League, and later as the Iroquois Confederacy. This Native American included many type of people in their tribes. After 1722, they accepted the Tuscarora people .
