The common factors for 32,48 are 1,2,4,8,16 1 , 2 , 4 , 8 , 16 . The numbers do not contain any common variable factors. The GCF (HCF) of the numerical factors 1,2,4,8,16 1 , 2 , 4 , 8 , 16 is 16 . The greatest would be 16

16 is the answer. All 3 numbers can be divided by 16 at most. It can’t be 16a because 48b does not have a. It can’t be 16b because 32a does not have b.
