In the periodic table , in each row, the number of shells for each element is same. row is the name given to horizontal sequence of elements in the periodic table.

noble gases is the name given to those which have full valence electrons in their outer shell. hence noble gases are inert in nature and don't react to other elements.

hydrogen is an example of nonmetals.
