A river re-shapes the earth by downcutting through the rock to form canyons for example, by transporting silt and sand over long distances and by depositing the silt and sand in deltas and alluvial fans so it can have a profound effect on the landscape.

Answer:

Erosion

Weathering

Deposition

Step-by-step explanation:

Erosion is the natural part of the rock. Sediments will not be there without erosion or the sedimentary rock. Therefore erosion is the picking of the unconsolidated soil as well as sediments. Most rivers erode to transport the sediments. The sediments in other places deposit the sediment in different locations. The principles agent behind the eroding bedrocks and sediments is the moving water.

The dissolving and worn of the rock is called weathering. Weathering occurred in different processes such as mechanical, organic and chemical processes.
