Suppose you knew the makeup of specific proteins in a cell. how would you determine the particular dna code that coded for them?

Reverse translate from amino acids (protein) to RNA then reverse transcribe to DNA. However, its not exact because there are no introns because they got cut out because they did not code for the protein so you can not get the original strand and also because some amino acids have multiple codons,
