\large \tt Solution \: :

The given equation is :

\qquad\displaystyle \tt \rightarrow \: 8x + 12y = 108

\qquad\displaystyle \tt \rightarrow \: 12y = 108 - 8x

\qquad\displaystyle \tt \rightarrow \: y = (108)/(12) - (8)/(12) x

\qquad\displaystyle \tt \rightarrow \: y = - (2)/(3) x + 9

That's the required equation, with slope (m) = -2/3 and y - intercept = 9
