Why does southwest have a standardized fleet of boeing 737's?

To save money Southwest chose 737's over a320's because 737's are older and have flown around longer meaning boeing has experience on the 737. The a320 is newer and airbus has less experience making it than boeing so that is why Southwest chose 737-700/800 over a319 and a320.
