The surface area of a sphere is given by the following relationship:
A = 4πR ^ 2
Where,
R: radio
We then have to replace the radio value we have:
A = 4π (100) ^ 2
A = 40000π yd ^ 2
Answer:
The surface area of a sphere with a radius of 100 yd is:
b. 40,000π yd2
