Knowing Spanish is more of a universal benefit because it is one of the most spoken languages in the world. The number of people speaking Spanish is increasing, and will increase through the years. To not get left behind, you should learn another language. Any language is good to learn, even T.V. languages like Klingon. People that can speak more than one language are able to process information better.

Fun fact: Spanish is spoken faster in Latin America than in Spain.
