Is a butterfly asymmetry or Bilateral Symmetry?

Animals with bilateral symmetry have one line that divides them into two mirror images. For example: a butterfly. If you drew a line exactly down the center of its body from its head to its tail, the two halves would be the same, but mirror images of each other.

Hope this helps ;)

Most of the time, butterflies have bilateral symmetry. This means that there is one line of symmetry. Since butterflies are the same to the left as to the right, this is true.

Hope this helps!
