Call the healthcare provider if the client shows signs of acute kidney injury. These may include swelling of legs, ankles and around the eyes, the patient shows episodes of seizures for severe cases, chest pain, less urine and shortness of breath, fatigue, nausea and vomiting, headache and loss of appetite.
