PLEASE HELP ME !!!James had a large bag of raisins and he ate 3/4 of it over the weekend. On Monday, he decided to share the remaining raisins with 2 friends so that each of the 3 of them gets a fair share. What portion of the whole bag of raisins did each of his friends get?

Let total raisins = x

Raisins James ate over the weekend = 3/4 of total = 3/4 of x = (3/4) x

Remaining raisins = x- (3/4) x = (1/4)x

Now these (1/4) x raisins are to be shared among three people,

so dividing (1/4)x by 3 we have:

(1/4) x ÷ 3

=(1/12)x

Answer: Each of them gets (1/12) part of total raisins.
