x+16+2x+14=90
so x=20.

Apply the formula :

sin(90 - x) = cos(x)

We are given :

sin(x+16)°=cos(2x+14)°

So comparing we have,

90 - (x+16) = 2x +14

distributing - over the bracket

90 - x-16 = 2x +14

bringing like terms together,

90 - 14-16 = 2x +x

60=3x

Dividing both sides by 3,

x =20

Answer : x=20
