You are the only person on the scene of an accident involving a child. you need to call 9-1-1 or the local emergency number, but the child requires rescue breathing. you did not witness the child collapse. what should you do?

a. give urgent care for the child; someone will eventually come by to make the call.
b. call 9-1-1 or the local emergency number quickly, then return to give care to the child.
c. give the child care for about 2 minutes, then call 9-1-1 or the local emergency number.
d. immediately transport the child to the hospital yourself.
