HELP please!!!!

If sin y° = and tan y° = ,what is the value of cos y°?
I cant send the picture, but the triangle is a right triangle,
the right angle is on the bottom right, and the "y" angle is above it, (and the hypotenuse is the top line.)
Here are some choices too!

cos y° = 9c
cos y°= 9/d
cos y°= d/c
cos y° = 9d

Final answer:

The value of cos(y°) cannot be determined with the given information.

Step-by-step explanation:

In a right triangle, the cosine of an angle can be found using the formula:

cos(y°) = adjacent side / hypotenuse

Since the hypotenuse is the top line and the adjacent side is not given, we cannot determine the value of cos(y°).
