NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) is an agreement signed between
America, Canada and Mexico
, on the 1st of January 1994. Its function is to grant free trading between the three countries. The model was inspired by the already existing one between the US and Canada, which in turn was inspired by the European model.
