To tell the client to continue taking the meds to make sure it is all the way gone.

Answer:

The nurse should educate the patient about the importance of full antibiotic course.

She should explain that leaving the course in between may lead to the development of antibiotic resistance in the bacteria.

Thus, leaving the course will worsen the condition and after a while antibiotic may not able to treat the disease.
