PLEASE HELP ASAP! Use complete sentences to describe a relationship between two sets that you can describe mathematically. For example, if you make a habit of eating 10 carrot sticks a day you could mathematically describe the relationship between the number of days in the month and the number of carrot sticks you eat in that month.

Every commensal at a dinner eats three plates. Then the number of plates served at the dinner is three times the number of commensals.

Answer:

Another statement would be if you sleep 8 hours a day the total amount of time you spend sleeping during a month is the product of the number of days and 8.

Explanation:

Let y = the number of carrots you eat in a month

x = the number of a days in a month

y = 10x

The number of carrots you eat in the month will be the product of the number of carrots you eat per day and the number of days in a month. The dependent variable is number of days in the month and the independent variable is the number of carrots eaten in a month.

Another statement would be if you sleep 8 hours a day the total amount of time you spend sleeping during a month is the product of the number of days and 8.
